Configuration
=============

This chapter describes how to configure various aspects of a NixOS machine
through the configuration file
:file:`/etc/nixos/configuration.nix`. As described in
:ref:`sec-changing-config`, changes to this file only take
effect after you run :command:`nixos-rebuild`.
